Tier 2 Minister of Religion

The following information is given in order to provide you with a generalised overview of the Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) points based system. If a migrant is a Minister of Religion undertaking preaching and pastoral work, missionary, or member of a religious order, taking up employment, or a post/role within their faith community in the UK, they can apply for a Tier 2 (Minister of Religion).

The sponsor must provide an official letter from the sponsor within the organisation, which must be signed by someone with authority within the sponsor’s organisation. The letter must give an outline of the migrant’s duties, details of remuneration, and an explanation of how the role passes the resident labour market test. If this criteria is met 50 point will be awarded.
